MLC member, Alex Downie (left) and senior civil servant, Tim Craine are in Washington this week attending the Satellite 2009 conference and exhibition. As loyal readers of this blog will know, the IoM is a major player in the satellite world as a register, insurer and financier as well as being home to a number of space-related manufacturers.
Sadly, the team were so booked up I couldn’t get to organize an event with the local Manx but they do promise that they’ll make more time on their next visit.
