A sparkling venue for a sparkling evening. The Awards for Excellence were presented last night in the Gaiety Theatre, Douglas. It sounds like an evening full of tears and cheers as Manx notables were awarded for their services to the community, charity and commerce. Check out the IOM Today website for a long, long list of outstanding achievements. Not bad for a 33-mile long rock in the midle of the Irish Sea.
