The IOM is home to many basking sharks. World experts on the giant basking shark have been getting a close look at the creatures in Manx waters. They have gathered for a conference in Port Erin to discuss the global position of the species and how best to protect it. At the weekend sharks came into the bay and were observed by delegates.
