CRUISE CALL SEASON STARTS THIS WEEKEND

Isle of Man Tourism is pleased to announce that the month of June heralds the commencement of this year’s ‘Cruise Call’ season with three visits scheduled.

The schedule starts this Sunday 20th June when the Isle of Man will play host to the Plein Cap Crosiers vessel, ms Adriana 111.  The French company has attracted approximately 232 passengers and 110 crew on a ‘Croisière Celtique’ (Celtic) itinerary.

The cruise will commence in Brest, calling at Irish ports, the Isle of Man and a selection of Scottish ports prior to finishing the voyage in Bergen, Norway.   In her early life, the Adriana was built in Greece and belonged to a Greek company; however, she now belongs to the V Ships Group and cruises under the ‘Plein Cap’ banner.  Whilst in Douglas her passengers will be undertaking a number of shore excursions to both the south and north of the Isle of Man.

Four days after the visit of the Adriana, Douglas will receive a return visit from the ms Island Sky, formerly the Renaissance 8 of Renaissance Cruises.
