Gifts for people over there

I often have to send a gift to a friend or family member in the UK or the IOM. As a rule I don’t bother going down to the Post Office as they tend to lose my packages or take about 20 weeks to deliver them. What I do now is give my business to local (Manx) businesses. You all know about Manx Inspirations (click on the pretty red box on the right) which is run by our immediate Past President of NAMA. They will ship all over the world. But for local or UK deliveries you might find these companies to be useful. Post-a-Rose is famous, they sell roses all over Britain but they are grown in the Isle of Man. This is their lovely Peaches and Cream bouquet.

They have another company – Isle of Man Hampers. Products include cheeses from Isle of Man Creameries, kippers from Moore’s Traditional Kippers, Roly’s handmade chocolates, smoked salmon from Island Seafare, Manx honey, teas and coffees from Manx Pack and beers from Okells and Bushy’s breweries. Yum yum!!
