Davy Knowles (not Tony as I had it yesterday who is Davy’s dad and has told me he WISHES it was him!) from Port St. Mary is going to tour with Jeff Beck, has already announced a string of festival appearances, under the name of Davy Knowles and Back Door Slam, for the summer, and on June 30 he will again be supporting Chicago blues great Buddy Guy, this time at Summerfest in Milwaukee.
Davy has also been busy working on a new album with another legendary guitar player, Peter Frampton. IOMToday I guess it’s going to get more and more expensive to turn up and fly the flag!
Jeff Beck will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame on April 4.
