The mountain road is closed, the airports across Britain are struggling with backlogs and delays and schools all over are closed. But the IoM is not too badly affected and I hope that my flight out on Thursday will go ahead. But things could be worse — getting stranded here is a lot of people’s dream! I can recommend the Swiss Chalet restaurant for Sunday lunch, the Kashmir restaurant if you like curry (I do!) and the new Harbour Bistro in Port St. Mary (Ports of Call as was).
