Manx roots? Unable to join a local Society? We have great news!

Thanks to our wonderful NAMA board member Stephen Schaitberger we are now able to deliver a virtual Manx “Society”.  One of the positives from the recent covid endemic has been the use of Zoom to communicate with one another via technology.  It is not meant to replace a local “society” but to allow those who may not be able to travel to a local society to meet to share with one other the joys of being Manx.

If interested in being part of a quarterly virtual Manx Society contact Stephen by email at stephenschaitberger@charter.net or call him on 218-330-1402.  He will need your email address.

Our first inaugural virtual meeting will be April 1, 2024, the Monday after Easter Day. otherwise known as April Fool’s Day.  We will meet at 4pm Eastern Daylight time, 3pm Central Daylight time, 2pm Mountain Daylight time, and 1pm Pacific Daylight time (also Arizona Standard time).

We hope to include some of the following:

  • A brief check-in for each attendee.
  • Manx-American heritage stories to share.
  • How NAMA gives grants for Celtic fair displays or booths for Manx heritage.
  • Ideas for finding other Manxies in your neighborhood.
