After many years with our basic website, the Board voted to invest in an upgrade. This new site will continue to post stories of interest to people of Manx descent on the News section. In addition, we will help the local societies across the USA and Canada to promote their events and find new members.
We will also carry updates concerning our new Zoom schedule featuring Manx personalities as well as information regarding the next Convention, to be held in Plymouth, Massachusetts August 4-7 2022.
Each local society’s contact page can be accessed by clicking on the map pin closest to the location you’re looking for. If there is no society near you, please consider starting one. Social media is sufficient to get you started! During the 2020 pandemic, two new local societies started by creating a Facebook page and sharing with friends and relatives. In-person meetings are planned post-lockdown!
Another innovation for the North American Manx Association is the introduction of online payments. We will be using PayPal for membership payments and Convention charges. More about this as we work it out!
