Project to establish Irish Sea conservation areas

RECOMMENDATIONS about Irish Sea conservation zones are being sought by the UK government as part of a project which aims to establish protected marine areas by 2012.

The objective, which is contained in the UK Marine and Coastal Access Bill, is to give environmental protection to ensure a healthy and productive future for the coast and waters of the neighbouring seas and oceans.Story here.
