The San Diego County Manx Society began in 1979 at the suggestion of Noreen Cottier who was in the US visiting Hilary. We hold bi-monthly meetings, in each others homes, which are held on the second Sunday of February, April, June, October and December.
We are home to the famous Star of India ship, which was built in Ramsey Isle of Man in 1863, and are proud to have her as a part of our Maritime Museum. She sailed as recently as November 10 & 11th of 2007.
There are approximately 24 regular attenders and have 28 families on the mailing list.
