On July 26th 2021, Howard Quayle kindly sat down with David Holmes, our second vice-president to answer questions about his tenure and the challenges and rewards of holding the elected office of Chief Minister of the Isle of Man. He describes the challenges of the pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns; the Brexit negotiations and their effects on Manx fishermen and farmers and the moving experience of laying a wreath at the Cenotaph in London to honor the Manx war dead.
